New CF poster

They officially have a Catching Fire poster. Finally. And a "teaser" which basically is just the mockingjay pin turning into the CF symbol, and then catching on fire. Yeah, really. The catching fire poster is just a Gold CF symbol with Catching Fire at the bottom...They are moving slow. Yeah, that's pretty much it. Except I just wanted to say, in the video you can totally tell someone recorded it in the movie theater...illegally...because you can see the exit sign...yeah...sad. Sorry, I have been busy, and there hasn't been much news.

Long Time No Post...

I hate lying

I apologize. I reacted too quickly on pretty much all of the news I confirmed. I erased that post because it was a lie. Mags will actually be played by Lynn Cohen. She has a MUCH better look for the role and although I haven't seen her act I get the feeling that she will do the role justice. This, because I lied previously, has not been confirmed by IMDb, so don't take it to heart...Sam Claflin has been cast as Finnick, and while I think he looks ok, I don't really know if he can do the acting because although he has been in several movies I have seen, he hasn't really been a big star and I can hardly remember anything about his performances. This has been confirmed by IMDb but so had the news about Mags, so if IMDb is wrong, I will also be wrong. Now for Beetee, they had confirmed him but now he is just rumored. Tony Shalhoub is who I am referring to, and he may still end up being the alone who plays him, I just wanted to let you know that there had been that change. Amanda Plummer is still confirmed as Wiress. Thank you all. Hope you can forgive me, love ya,

Welcome to the Rumor Mill

Seeing as there has been no news lately, I am being forced to give some casting rumors....Catching Fire has several brand new casting rumors. First, Wiress has been rumored to be played by Amanda Plummer. I haven't seen her act so I don't know how her acting style fits but she looks right. Next, we have an official Finnick rumor. This means that someone is saying he has been offered the part, but I really don't know if they are telling the truth. Finnick has been rumored to be played by Sam Claflin. Beetee has been rumored in the same article to  be played by Tony Shalhoub. Also includied in this article was a rumor for Mags, Melissa Leo. As for Mags, I have a feeling some heavy make up is in store. NONE OF THESE ARE FOR SURE IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. IT IS JUST SO I HAVE SOMETHING TO MAKE NOTE OF. Mockingjay so good it needs to be split into two movies?

Apparently Mockingjay is going to be split into two movies. The release dates are going to be November 21, 2014, and November 20, 2015 (if you remember Catching Fire will be released November 22 of 2013, anyone else see anything funny? Nope...just me?...okay...). Anyways, there are a few different spots the movies could be split. These are: When District 13 was bombed, but maybe the movie could be altered so that there was a large battle as opposed to a bombing. The next is when Peeta gets rescued and he strangles her. The final is when Katniss goes to District Two and does the speech, but gets shot. I am going to do a poll for which you prefer. Honestly, I like the one where Katniss goes to District Two and gets shot, personally, but they are all good split points. I don't really like the first, at least not if they are going to change the plot. Anyways, enjoy the next few days with out me. I will be at State Contest for 4-H so no posts. Thanks. Love ya!

No news is good news?

I have a hard time agreeing with this statement. I want news even if it is bad news. I want Finnick news. Right now, that is in short supply. There is old Plutarch news, and fairly old Johanna news, and really old returning character news, but no Finnick news. Or other new/old tribute news for that matter. No Mags, no Chaff, No Seeder, no Beetee, no Wiress, no anybody. No news at all. No Barbie dolls, no engagements to old Disney stars, no funny interviews, no introductory posts because my blog was brand new, no funny youtube videos (well none that are relevant), no nothing. No news is killing me. It isn't good. I'm going to die if i can't give you guys useful stuff. Anyways I suppose that in the mean time you could do comments of who you think should be cast for Finnick and the rest of the tributes. I'm sorry I can't find any news. Thank you for reading. Rumors no more

The Johanna casting rumors are rumors no more. Jena Malone has officially been cast as Johanna Mason. Both IMDb and Flixter have her listed as Johanna. Also noteworthy, Lenny Kravitz for the first time has been lock in, along with Willow Shields and Donald Sutherland, although my assumption was from the beginning that all three would appear in all three (or four) films. (In case you were unaware Mockingjay is being split into two movies. My hope is that this casting will be promptly followed up by Finnick and the rest of the tributes. Actually the whole rest of the cast, and movie would he nice too. Anyways, your ideas, who should play Finnick, Beetee, Wiress, and Mags? Thanks!

Who else thinks that there should be a firework, or a group of fireworks dedicated to the Girl on Fire? I think it would be epic if there was a fireworks show set up for Katniss...I think it would be the coolest thing ever! Anyways I want to hear your thoughts about this and see ideas for a firework cool enough to be dedicated to Katniss.

Johanna cast?

I just checked IMDb for news on casting and whatever else, and when I checked earlier nothing was up that was new so I told you guys some older news about Liam, but to get to the point, Johanna has SUPPOSEDLY been cast. Who you ask? Jena Malone has supposedly been cast. She was in the rumors but, but not until after my post about the tribute castings...honestly I didn't think she had much of a chance so I didn't say anything on the blog. She isn't on the official cast list yet except as a rumored Johanna, and she has only been said to be cast by one news source so far, so don't get carried away but I think this is for real. I will keep you posted and add pictures as soon as I can tell for sure. I hope this isn't fake news...like I said I will keep you posted. Thanks for reading!

Gale gets married?

While no marriage was mentioned in the books, at least for Gale, Liam Hemsworth has recently announced his engagement to former co-star from Last Song, Miley Cyrus. There are already rumors of plans for children and his family apparently loves her. My first thought is that this had better not interfere with his willingness to act in the movies coming up. If it does, I will throw a gigantic fit, bigger than my little sister's temper tantrums when she was two. Believe me, that is a big fit. Not nessecarily because I am attached to him, just that I think finding a replacement would be ridiculous and that it would ruin continuity between movies. Anyways, if he did end up quitting, who would you want to play Gale? This can either be a look-alike or someone else who you just think would make a good Gale. Concussion

Ok so I have a reason for not posting the last couple days...well yesterday and the day before at least. My super good reason is that I got a concussion on Wednesday and the doctor said I couldn't do computer or Tv or anything for all of yesterday. Along the note of concussions, this is a fun fact you probably didn't know. Jennifer Lawrence accidentally kicked Josh Hutcherson in the side of the head while they were on set and gave him a concussion. Both say it was a total accident. Poor Josh...I know that had to hurt. From experience. Anyways Josh and I are both better now, and I love you all. Thanks for reading!

Ok so I am hearing floating rumors

On IMBd there are several news stories about casting for Johanna Mason, the sarcastic, mean, tribute from District Seven, who Katniss tangles with throughout Catching Fire and Mockingjay. There are two actresses really standing out among the rest of the rumors. These are Mia Wasikowska, who plays Alice in Alice and Wonderland, and Zoe Aggeliki who is really an unknown. Of these two I really like Mia Wasikowska, although I really think that Kristen Bell would maybe make a good Johanna too. Plutarch Heavensbee will be played by Phillip Seymour Hoffman from MI3 and Moneyball neither of which was he a top star in. Finnick has three likelies but it could still go to anyone. These are Armie Hammer, the prince from Mirror Mirror, Garret Hedlund the lead from Tron: Legacy, and Taylor Kitsch from John Carter. My favorite of these is Garrett Hedlund.This is the first time I have seen Effie and Haymitch guaranteed to be played by their previous actors and Toby Jones will continue as Claudius Templesmith. For those of you who are distopia lover's who have also read Divergent (me) that is in pre-production. Peeta, Katniss, and Gale will, of course, be portrayed by their former actors as well. My theory about the game is right...ish

So my theory about the game is right. There is going to be a game for apple products. There's a trailer out on youtube and it looks...OK. I doubt I will buy it even if it comes to Amazon but that's me. Also I think there might be another game coming but it looks like an Internet game to me. I can't tell for sure. I will look into it more and let you guys know. I hope they do a legit like console game though like of the first movie...LEGO THG would be wicked too. K this is off topic but they are doing LEGO Lord of the Rings...how sweet is that? Anyways I think that would be a cool game. Once again thanks for reading, love you all!

I'm lazy so I am not getting news or pics but I love you all!

Ok, so I am kinda lazy, I don't want to find news for today, so I'm not going to. I just want to say that I may or may not get a Katniss Barbie...they are mildly creepy but kinda cool. On the same page as the Barbie, there are also action figures. I'm not positive when they come out, they may or may not have already come out, but whatever. There is going to be a Katniss, a Gale, and a Peeta doll. I have a feeling that they are going to do a video game but don't take my word on that its just my thought, not any news from anywhere. I hope they do a video game because I think it would be fun. If you have any specific posts you want me to do let me know. I will post pictures probably tomorrow later in the day, like at two or so, of the barbie and of the action figures. Katniss Barbie Doll

There is going to be a Katniss Barbie doll. And for those of you who were wondering, yes, I am going back and changing posts. The pics for this one are on my game theory post I think...anyways I am probably going to buy a Katniss Barbie because that is legit. A little creepy but still legit. I think it will be the only Barbie that will not get Hand-me-down-ed to Kacie. Yes, Aly, I am buying one, and no you cannot break it.

Catching up on THG and CF

Ok this post will actually be relevant. THG won't be out on DVD until August 18th, because it did so well in theaters. Another big upset is that it's no longer in normal theaters. You have to go to special theaters to see it. CF on the other hand, won't be in theaters until November of 2013. Also on CF, the director from THG won't be doing CF. Supposedly Francis Lawrence is doing it, or at least according to IMbd he is. There is still no casting news for Finnick or any of the tributes but Plutarch has supposedly been cast also, according to IMbd, although I can't remember the name of the guy who was cast to play him. The characters from the first film, who lived of course, will continue into Catching Fire.
